If you want to set up the SMS mode

If you have two telephones on your line and both are able to receive SMS, you must deactivate this function in one of them.

Setting your personal SMS box

  1. - Go to SMS and confirm
  2. - Got to SMS Settings and confirm
  3. - Select SMS box and confirm
  4. - Go to Add new and confirm
  5. - Enter the SMS box number (1-9) and confirm
  6. - Enter your password twice and confirm (not required)

If you wish to change your password, select the SMS box and then select the option Change password. If you forgot you password, delete your box. Select Delete and confirm.

Caution: When you delete your SMS box, you will lose all your messages as well

Setting the SMS centre number

SMS messages are sent through the SMS centre (Text message centre)
In order to receive messages from another operator/provider you must set the appropriate numbers.

  1. Enter the Incoming number and confirm
  2. Enter the Outgoing number and confirm
  3. Enter the Email server number and Email separator (varies according to the country)

The Email server number is sometimes referred to as the Vanity number. The Email separator is a mark that separates the email address from the rest of the SMS message. The type of protocol depends on the telephone network. More information may be obtained from your phone service provider.

If you want to set the duration of the validity period (varies according to the country)
You may set the time frame for which the SMS message will be valid.

  1. Go to SMS and confirm
  2. Go to SMS settings and confirm
  3. Select Validity period and confirm
  4. Select desired time period and confirm
