SMS service setting instructions
If you have set the default setting for the base (page 28)
the following setting of the SMS service will also be
reset.

Note:
- If you set your setting back to the default settings,
all your incoming and sent messages will be lost.
Activation and deactivation of SMS service
- Press the button (Navigation button)
- Select ... and then press the button OK
- Select "Parameters" and then press OK

Enter the code "0000" (default base PIN)
- if you changed the code, enter the new one (page
28)
- Select "SMS ON/OFF" and then press the button OK.
- Select ON or OFF and then press the button OK
- Press "[X0]"
Note:
- if you try to send a message when the SMS service is
switched off, you will hear a tone and the message will be
saved in the received messages folder, marked with
"FD".

- if someone sends you a message when the SMS service is
switched off, the message will not be received and the
number of the message centre will be recorded in the ID
list of incoming calls
Saving the SMS service centre numbers
In order to receive and send SMS messages you must save
numbers of the SMS service centre.
For the Czech Republic:
In this device you have the following numbers pre-programmed
(for provider Èeský Telecom). If you wish you may change
these numbers.
For the Slovak Republic:
In this device you have the following numbers pre-programmed
but if you want to use the SMS service you must enter and
save the applicable number used by your provider.
- Message centre 1: 1470
- Your provider will have more information available for
you.
- Press the button (Navigation button)
- Select ... and then press the button OK
- Select "Parameters" and then press OK

Enter code "0000" (default base PIN)
- if you changed the code, enter the new one (page
28)
- Select "Message centre 1" or "Message centre 2" and
then press the button OK
- Check if the entered number is correct and make changes
if necessary and then press OK twice.
- Press "[X0]"
Note:
- If your telephone is connected to the PBX switchboard,
you must enter, besides the number of the message centre 1,
also the access number of the PBX line, plus space. Save
the number of the message centre 1 for the message centre 2
in unchanged form without the access line number or
space.
