Have a family member, friend, or colleague recharge your prepaid account with their postpaid tariff
Contract customers can recharge phones by calling *11 and following the automated voice prompts. The value of a prepaid coupon is charged to their account and included on their monthly invoice.
It's easy and quick. You can even recharge phones that are roaming abroad.
How to recharge
- dial *11 on a postpaid mobile, press "2" for English
- press "3" to recharge a phone with a prepaid account.
- enter the account's 6-digit identification number and press #
- enter the phone number of the phone to be recharged.
- enter the amount of credit to be sent to the prepaid account(CZK 200, 250, 350, 500, 600, 700, 800 or 900).
- the automated voice system confirms the recharging data: the value, the prepaid phone number, the day, month, and year.
- the prepaid number is recharged within 30 minutes (at the very latest).
- once recharged, an SMS confirming the amount is sent to the postpaid number.
- the prepaid phone receives an SMS with the amount of the recharge and the number of the postpaid mobile that recharged it.
"O2 Recharging" is listed in the "Lump-sum payments" section of the postpaid invoice; it includes the phone numbers of recharged mobiles and the values of the prepaid coupons.
Specific Terms and Conditions:
- to use this service, customers must have been Telefónica Czech Republic customers for at least four months with no late payments.
- O2 Recharging limits are based on the bill for the previous month.
- this service may be deactivated through the automated voice system. Subsequent reactivation can be done via written application.
