F-Secure Profi Antivirus provides you with professional user-friendly protection for your computer. Simply download the program, then install and forget about it. The program will set up fundamental security measures for you. With all ADSL (with the exception of O2 Internet Start) and mobile Internet connections from O2, your computer is protected completely free of charge.
You can try the service with a sixty-day trial license then activate the full version of the programfor free. You can then generate a new license code on our website every year free of charge. The trial and full versions of the program have full service and support, including database updates whenever new risks appear.
What can happen to you on the Internet
If you do not use a high-quality security program, your computer could get infected by damaging code. This code can then, for example, completely destroy your documents, delete your photographs, or even permanently damage your computer. Some damaging programs spy on your activities while you're using your computer and they can, for example, send your Internet banking password to thieves or misuse your private documents. Antivirus- a special program that protects files in your computer against attacks by viruses and other damaging codes (including adware, malware, and many others); it monitors data coming to your computer from the Internet or portable media (CD, DVD, etc.)
Firewall- a shield between your computer and the Internet that does not let any undesired information in or out of your computer
Antispyware- privacy protection that guards and removes hidden spyware and does not allow it to collect your sensitive information (e.g. passwords)
Antiphishing- the program recognizes known or suspicious-looking websites that, for example, try to look like bank applications and lure you into providing access to your credit cards and accounts
Rootkit Detection- this important tool reveals and removes codes that influence your computer's system directly by creating a dangerous secret gate that can be used by an intruder to attack your computer undetected
Host-Based Intrusion Prevention- another form of protection that can reveal and catch external and internal attacks on your home computer network
The application can reveal and solve the majority of security problems without requiring any action from you. If the program recognizes, for instance, an unknown connection attempt or other security risk that requests an answer from you, a message window will appear with a simple description.
