O2 NEON L

Terms and Conditions

(O2 NEON L - detailed information about the service.)

These terms and conditions are meant to help our non-Czech customers understand the terms of service. Please refer to the Czech version of this page for the complete, legally binding terms and conditions.

Subscribers are charged for each started minute. When calling your voice mail, you are charged for the first entire minute, then per second billing applies.

Free units within the tariff are not used towards calls or SMS or MMS messages provided as part of the benefit and they are not transferred to the next billing period. Free SMS messages are also used for texting fixed-line numbers.

A subscriber who activates an O2 NEON tariff with a 24-month commitment can cancel the tariff within the first two months of the commitment without a contractual penalty and, if applicable, can return to a prepaid O2 karta if they were using O2 prepaid services originally. This option is not available to subscribers who buy a subsidized phone as part of the special offer.

It is not possible to use the O2 Tandem, O2 Star, O2 Spolu, O2 Duet, Call Home for Free, O2 My Firm, O2 Long Weekends, and Weekend Calling services with the tariff.

O2 NEON tariffs are provided in the regime of Special Offers of a Subsidized Tariff Conditioned by the Commitment to Properly Use Telefónica Services for 24 Months. Upon the completion of 24 months the commitment is automatically prolonged by the same period of time. However the subscriber has the right to refuse this automatic prolongation at any time. If the subscriber refuses the prolongation, they lose they right to claim the benefit provided as part of this Special Offer after 24 months have run out and they get the benefit provided with the O2 NEON Basic tariff or the corresponding original tariff, or the tariff they used last. The subscriber can also choose other tariffs from the current offer of Telefónica.

If the subscriber breaks their commitment, Telefónica has the right to request the payment of a contractual penalty according to article 13.7 of VP. The contractual penalty amounts to the sum total of monthly fees for all started months remaining until the end of the commitment that applies to the Special Offer; a minimum of CZK 250 for each started month. The remaining time of the commitment is calculated from the moment when the request for the early termination of the Special Offer was submitted, or from the moment the request for termination of service provision was submitted. If the subscriber delays the payment of their bills for longer than 65 days, the remaining time of the commitment starts as soon as the notification period has expired, in other cases at the moment when the commitment is broken.

The Special Offer of a Subsidized Tariff can be combined with a Special Offer of a Subsidized Phone; in this case the subscriber commits themselves to properly use the agreed upon services for 36 months. If the subscriber breaks their commitment, Telefónica has the right to request the payment of a contractual penalty according to article 13.7 of VP.
