O2 Trick Telephone

Using the O2 Trick Telephone service, you can make calls from public payphones to mobile and fixed-line networks in the Czech Republic as well as abroad.

O2 Trick SMS

With the O2 Trick card, you can also use public payphones to send SMS messages of up to 150 characters to mobile and fixed-line numbers. You can use this service with card, coin, and combined public payphones.

Voice SMS

If the recipient of your SMS message does not have a telephone device that supports the fixed-line SMS service, the SMS message will be delivered in voice format. The voice SMS is usually delivered within 30 seconds. Once the phone call has been answered the text of the message is read twice.

If nobody receives the call, the message box will call back in 30-minute intervals up to a maximum of eight attempts. If the receiver does not collect the message during this time, the message will be delivered to their Voice Mail. If their Voice Mail is not active, the voice SMS will be deleted.

The voice SMS can only interpret Czech language and common foreign words.

If incoming calls are diverted at the end-user's device, the voice SMS is also diverted. If the voice SMS is diverted to a mobile operator's number, the SMS is still delivered in its voice format.

Voice SMS messages are only delivered during the day between 07:00 and 22:00. If you send your message at a different time, the system will save it then send it as early as possible in accordance with the standard delivery times.

O2 Trick E-mail

The O2 Tick card enables you to send emails from public payphones. Simply write the recipient's email address in front of the text of the email in the following format:
email_address@address.domain_text of the message
underscore ( _ ) symbolizes a break

SMS messages to fixed-line numbers can only be sent in the Czech Republic.
As soon as the card expires it cannot be used anymore and any unused credit that remains on it is invalid.
