Voice Mail Email
(Voice Mail (fixed line) - detailed information about the service.)
Service benefits
- You can set the parameters of your email box in the Profile application (access passwords, phone numbers and email accounts to be notified, attachments, and other parameters) over the Internet.
- Your box can send notifications to two email accounts:
- One is for delivering notifications that have the message from your Voice Mail box as an attachment. Voice messages are attached as MP3 files, while fax messages are delivered as TIF files. Messages in your box are saved until you listen to them via telephone.
- The second email account is dedicated to simple notifications of delivered voice or fax messages. You can set this account up in order to receive the notifications as SMS messages on your mobile phone.

- Preconditions for the user
- How to activate Voice Mail E-mail
- Logging into the Voice Mail Profile application
- Setting up email accounts for notification
- Setting other Mail Box parameters
Preconditions for the user:
- Regular use of email (an email box with any provider).
- At least one opportunity to access a computer with an Internet connection (to connect to the Voice Mail Profile web application in order to create the initial settings of the box - enter the email accounts to be used for notification).
- The computer must have a sound card and a TIF-type file viewer so that you can hear the voice attachments and view and print fax messages. To play Voice.mp3 files, you can use, for instance, Windows Media Player, which is a standard part of Windows, or the popular WinAmp.
How to activate Voice Mail Email:
The Voice Mail Email service is provided as a standard feature of any Mail Box.
Logging into the Voice Mail Profile application
You will log in from your computer at the following secure address https://memobox.cz.o2.com.
Note: If "Security warning" appears on the screen, click on "Show certificate" and "Install certificate". This will speed up access to the application.
After you enter the homepage of the Voice Mail Profile application
Click on "Voice Mail Profile" (the picture of a girl). This will take you to the "Enter your Mail Box" page, where you will enter:
- the nine-digit number of your Mail Box (the same as your phone number);
- the number of the extension Mail Box (if you have no extension Mail Boxes, enter 00, which is the number of your main Mail Box);
- the password for Internet access to your Mail Box
- copy the four-digit number shown on the screen - the access key to your Mail Box
First access notification
You will only use your telephone access password for the first login. You will use your Internet access password for subsequent logins.
- An access password and a randomly generated number – an access key – secures Mail Box against unauthorized access. Three successive attempts to enter the wrong password will block access to Voice Mail for one hour. Any other attempts to enter a password during this period will be unsuccessful.
- On your first successful login the Voice Mail Profile application will ask you to enter the password for Internet access. You will use this password to access the application (the password must contain six to 10 characters, with a minimum of four letters and two digits).
After you log in to your Mail Box
you can set the parameters on the "Main menu" page (enter email accounts or phone numbers for new message notifications, change access passwords, etc.).
Setting up email accounts for notification:
- Log in to the Voice Mail Profile application at this secure address https://memobox.cz.o2.com. If "Security warning" appears on the screen, click on "Show certificate" and "Install certificate". This will speed up access to the application.
Note: Click here to download the secure communication certificate. If it has not been installed on your computer yet, we recommend that you do so now.
- In Voice Mail Profile:
- Enter the nine-digit number of your Voice Mail after you have entered the application. For the first access, use your telephone access password.
- On your first successful login the Voice Mail Profile application will ask you to select a password that you will use to access the application (the password must contain six to 10 characters, with a minimum of four letters and two digits).
- Go to the main menu, click on "Notification" and "Email notification". Enter your email accounts where notifications are to be delivered, select the attachment type (according to the type of Mail Box), confirm, and you can start using the Voice Mail Email service.
Setting other Mail Box parameters:
You will use the same screens that you use with telephone access to enter the parameters of your Mail Box. This way, however, is faster and more convenient. After logging in to the Voice Mail Profile application, you will find the list of settings for your box on the "Main menu" screen.
