Using the service
(O2 Přepínám - detailed information about the service.)
This service is no longer available. Information on this page is for customers who ordered the service before its termination.
Basic information about calls
- connection takes place almost immediately - you don't need to dial a phone number or wait until the call is answered
- you can communicate via headset, loudspeaker, or using a special O2 Přepínám hands-free set
- you can check the display of your phone during the call to see if it's an individual or a group call, and to identify the group member who is speaking at that moment
- The call connection is automatically terminated after 30 seconds of silence (i.e. if none of the participants speak) - this rule applies to both individual and group calls
- the maximum size of the group is 50 active participants
Additional functions
When using O2 Přepínám, you can make group or simple calls. In addition you can:
- set your preferences to listen to up to five groups at the same time
- inquire about active group members - before or during the call
- activate the "do not disturb" profile - it switches off the O2 Přepínám service so you don't get disturbed by any calls
- send a request for a return call in case the person you are calling does not answer your call
Using the service abroad
O2 Přepínám can be used both within the O2 network and on networks of selected foreign partners. Using the service abroad is billed as GPRS transferred data (incoming/outgoing) based on the GPRS WAP roaming pricelist. The current list of roaming partners, including prices, can be found here.
The approximate price calculation for the call equals the amount of transferred data multiplied by the price (based on the WAP GPRS Roaming pricelist). The amount of transferred data equals the length of the call in seconds x 1kB/sec - the result needs to be rounded up based on the size of a billed block in individual roaming networks (see the GRPS WAP Roaming pricelist).
Note: Your phone transfers data both during the call and when it is switched on/off, when you work with a group and configure O2 Přepínám. If you do not wish to use the service while you are abroad, we recommend you turn it off before you leave the Czech Republic (see your user manual).
