Using ICQ on your mobile

If you have already installed ICQ on your mobile, follow these simple steps:
1. Select the ICQ application from your phone's application menu. If you have set up automatic application launch, ICQ will launch automatically when you switch on your phone.
2. In order to access your ICQ account, you must connect it through a WAP access point. ICQ will present you with a selection of access points (in Czech, "Volba přistup. bodu"). Select "O2 WAP" (see image below).
3. After launching the application, enter your ICQ number and password (identical to those you use for ICQ on your computer).
4. All your ICQ contacts will be downloaded automatically upon successful connection.
5. Friends that have your details saved in the ICQ contacts in their computers can see that you are connected to ICQ via a mobile – they will see a mobile phone icon next to your name.
6. To send a message, simply choose a contact with whom you wish to chat. Then just write and enter smilies :-). The ongoing discussion with this contact will appear on the main screen once the first message has been sent.
Always online
ICQ in your mobile can be online at all times without having to run the application. Simply choose the "End" item in the "Options" menu. The application will be constantly on standby, and as soon as somebody sends you an ICQ message, the network will automatically turn it on and deliver your message to you.
