O2 is pleased to accommodate the hearing impaired and adapts to the specific requirements of each customer. The hearing impaired and their loved ones can call a specific number and communicate with operators who serve as interpreters when arranging the call.

How O2 operators can help the hearing impaired

• arranging communication between a hearing impaired customer and institutions and offices
• contacting doctors
• ordering goods for clients - if necessary they can also submit a complaint
• searching for phone numbers then send the number to the client via SMS, fax, or e-mail
• forwarding private messages
• arranging communication between customers who can hear and the hearing impaired

Toll-free numbers

Several toll-free numbers are available to clients who wish to use the service, 24 hours a day:

• 800 142 142 for customers who can hear
• 800 143 143 for customers with a texting phone
• 800 147 147 number for communication via fax

Customers who do not own a special Polytel texting phone can contact the line's operators by email at neslysici@o2.com, or via SMS to the phone number 722 147 147 (they are charged for the outgoing SMS according to their tariff).

Unless they indicate otherwise, the customer is always contacted in the same form that they used to communicate with the line operator.

From February 1, 2010, the service is provided completely free of charge, regardless of which operator the client uses.

Note:

The Polytel texting phone displays all the letters of the Czech alphabet, can dial a number automatically, and can serve as an answering machine. However, it is not possible to buy a new device at this time as the producer no longer makes them.
