Dir-is - illustration of use of service

The company in our illustration has a centre connected to the data network by means of a fixed connection of the service Direct. Branches 1 to n are connected to the data network by the service Dir-is via the D channel of the service euroISDN2. Branch 1 is also connected to the data network by means of the service Frame Relay, using which the company has connected the LAN network in this branch and the centre. The centre communicates with the individual branches via the service Dir-is primarily in applications which require a large number of transactions with a low volume of data transferred. In addition to mutual linking between the centre and the branches of the company, it is possible to ensure for these branches access to other users connected to the Telefónica Czech Republic, a.s. data network or to users who are connected to public data networks abroad.
