What the Direct service offers

The service provides a permanent network connection complying with globally accepted standards. It ensures network solution compatibility and functionality even with the use of end-user devices by different producers. Automatic routing in the network and self-correcting mechanisms ensure reliable and error-free data transfers directly to end users. At the same time, data protection is ensured within the network and, when using optional services, it is even possible to transfer confidential information or to make cashless payments safely.

The Direct service is the most suitable solution for users that require permanent data communication between their headquarters and branch offices. Users of this service include not only large companies and organizations but also smaller companies that require a high-quality and reliable solution for data communication within the company, with their bank, customers and suppliers, and abroad.

Connection to other services

Together with other Telefónica Czech Republic services, the Direct service provides a comprehensive solution with high utility value. The data network enables Direct connections to communicate with each other as well as with connections of the Dial-in and Dir-is services and with foreign data networks. In combination with the Dial-in and Dir-is services, Direct enables users to optimize their monthly fee in relation with the volume of transferred data. These service combinations, along with the CED service, can be used according to the customer's specific needs.

Pricing

The price of the Direct service consists of a lump sum for acquiring the service and a regular monthly service usage fee. PVC

A PVC (Permanent Virtual Circuit) defines a connection between two end devices. In this case, the connection is permanently established by the data network operator the moment the service is ordered. PVC may be established at a national (Czech Republic) as well as international level.

CUG

A CUG (Closed User Group) enables the creation of logical closed user groups within a data network.
