Technical description of the service
(BlackBerry Enterprise Server - detailed information about the service.)
Transmission of a message to a device Blackberry-supported device
A node-labeled BlackBerry Enterprise Server plays a key role, and is responsible for several important tasks. Connected to your email account, it awaits incoming messages, then applies set filters for diverting messages to a mobile device. You can therefore set up which messages should be diverted to a mobile device and which messages can be left in your inbox at the office for later processing. When a new message is received, the first 2 kB of data is delivered, while remaining data (up to 32 kB) is delivered upon request.
BlackBerry Enterprise Server
The BlackBerry Enterprise Server is set up on your intranet. This server is connected to other servers and via this network it can access important company information. In addition to emails and address book data, the BlackBerry service can be expanded to include various client applications.
