Adress book
BlackBerry enables you to search any information in your company address book and to create distribution lists and groups for your own emails.
Remote wireless email management
Using BlackBerry, you can edit an automatic signature, set up filters, divert emails, set up "out of the office" replies and many other things.
Browsing attachments
The size of documents is optimized, ensuring rapid transmission of all data. And because the service uses the same encoding of attachments as your email system, sending and receiving documents is trouble-free. You can also decide to which extent you wish to receive attachments.
Mobile calendar
All events are automatically synchronized, so there's no risk of discrepancy between your PC calendar and your BlackBerry calendar.
Using the BlackBerry calendar you can:
- accept and decline invitations to meetings
- send invitations to groups of participants
- keep your calendars synchronized
Security
- A high level of security is an inherent quality of the BlackBerry product. All communication is encoded end-to-end throughout the entire communication chain between the BES server and the user's mobile device. AES or Triple DES technologies are used.
- Administrators can remotely adjust the security settings of end-users' mobile devices. If the device is lost or stolen, they can lock it or delete sensitive data from a distance.
Access to other company data and applications

Using the BlackBerry Enterprise Server, you connect to your email and other company applications. This function is called Mobile Data Service (MDS), and it is a safe end-to-end platform. Among other applications, it can be used to reach:
- Customer databases: CRM, SAP, and Oracle
- Intranet, Internet
- MDS supporting various data formats (HTML, HML, SQL, XML, HTTP and WML)
Streaming, tethering and selected third-party applications
If you want to use video streaming (eg on Youtube), tethering (by using your BlackBerry as a modem) or any specific applications for Internet APN data transmission, these are not included in the BlackBerry service and will be charged according to the price list of services for corporate customers. If you want to use these kinds of data transmission methods we recommended you activate the BlackBerry modem service, which will give you lower prices and cost control.
