Activation

You can activate this service in the following ways:

  • Send an SMS containing the keyword WEBVIDEO A to the phone number 999111
    - you'll be charged for the SMS according to your tariff
  • Or call our automated voice menu *11

Immediately after activation we'll send you a confirmation SMS and a password for your O2 Web Video Calling account.

Using the service

To use the O2 Web Video Calling service, you need to log in here. Then just enter your phone number and the password we sent you in the confirmation SMS.

If you forget your password, call our Customer Care Line.

  • postpaid and prepaid customers dial *11

Running the application for the first time

Starting the application for the first time takes a bit longer, so please be patient. In order to run the software, you must agree with the installation of Active X. To do this, you need to have Administrator or Power User rights on the computer.

A) Instructions for Windows XP - Service Pack 2

1. A window will appear in the upper-left corner of your screen.

2. Click on the message and choose to install ActiveX from the menu.

3. Click to allow the installation.

Repeat these steps once more.

B) Instructions for Windows 2000 or Windows XP, without Service Pack 2

Just click twice on "Yes" to confirm the menu that appears on your screen.

Redirecting incoming video calls

If you don't have a UMTS phone, we recommend that you redirect all incoming video calls to the O2 Web Video Calling application. Here's how:

SETTING UP REDIRECTS

- To redirect all incoming video calls to the web:

  • Send an SMS containing the keyword WEBVIDEO W to the phone number 999151
    - this SMS is free of charge
  • Or dial the following code on your phone and press "Call": *21*602047000*24#
  • Or use your phone's menu (UMTS phones only) to redirect video calls to the phone number 602047000. (See your phone's manual for complete details.)

CANCELING REDIRECTS

- To cancel the redirects and receive video calls on your phone:

  • Send an SMS containing the keyword WEBVIDEO M to the phone number 999151
    - this SMS is free of charge
  • Or dial the following code on your phone and press "Call": #21# [call] Or use your phone's menu (UMTS phones only) to cancel the redirects. (See your phone's manual for complete details.)

CHECKING THE STATUS

If you have transferred all incoming video calls to the phone number 602047000, all video calls will be redirected to the O2 Web Video Calling application. There are two ways to easily find out if redirects are currently enabled or disabled:

  • Dial the following code on your phone and press "Call": *#21#
  • Or use your phone's menu (UMTS phones only) to check the status of your redirects. (See your phone's manual for complete details.)

Deactivating the Web Video Calling service

You can deactivate the service at any time:

  • by sending an SMS containing the keyword WEBVIDEO D to 999111
    - you'll be charged for the SMS according to your tariff
  • or by calling our automated voice menu *11
