In combination with a data tariff, Mail for Exchange enables the transfer of a user's company emails, including attachments, to mobile devices, as well as the synchronization of the user's calendar and contacts.
The service operates primarily on Active Sync technology from Microsoft. It currently enables access to email, calendar, and contacts in Microsoft Outlook.
Equipment required for service usage
- Microsoft Exchange Server 2003/2007 or Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2003/2007
- phone supporting direct synchronization (models with Windows Mobile OS, with Symbian OS)
Note: If you do not have your own Exchange server, use the Hosted Exchange (O2 Business Mail) service from O2.
