Can VoIP be used on an O2 Internet Forte connection?
Yes, it is possible to use O2 Unlimited Line or O2 Virtual Exchange, which enables customers to have one branch exchange for the entire Czech Republic without any investments. O2 Virtual Exchange uses VoIP technology, which reduces the user’s voice communication costs.
What connection speeds does the service offer?
O2 Internet Forte offers connection speeds of 128, 256, 512, 1024, 2048, 4096, 6144, and 8192 kb/s.
Are end-user devices included with O2 Internet Forte?
Yes, we provide routers as part of O2 Internet Forte.
What types of end-user devices do you provide to the customer?
As part of the price of O2 Internet Forte, we offer you the opportunity to choose from three types of routers to rent based on your connection speed: the Cisco 1841 router for speeds of 4096 kb/s and higher, the Cisco 878 router for speeds of 512 kb/s, 1024 kb/s, and 2048 kb/s, and the ZyXEL Prestige 650R-E3 router for speeds of 128 kb/s and 256 kb/s.
How many fixed IP address does the customer get as part of the service?
Eight fixed IP addresses are assigned to the customer within O2 Internet Forte.
Are SLAs provided?
A guaranteed service availability of SLA0 is provided with O2 Internet Forte – repair within 12 hours from the time a malfunction or failure is reported, without the penalty option.
Can the customer order a firewall with O2 Internet Forte?
Yes, the PIX firewall can be ordered as an additional service. a software firewall cannot be ordered – it is not being offered. The customer configures PIX with their own resources. If this is the case, guarantees for the VPN solution are not provided.
What is the quality of O2 Internet Forte?
Aggregation is usually not used within O2 Internet Forte (on average O2 Internet Forte reaches 96% of the agreed-upon speed for speeds of up to 2048 kb/s). Guaranteed aggregation within the ATM backbone network is maximum 1:4.
Can the O2 Internet Forte connection be used within an IP VPN (IP Sec) solution?
Yes, the Forte VPN service can be used for an extra fee.
In the case of migration from IOL Digital to O2 Internet Forte can a customer keep using the 50 MB free WEB Express service as they have done until now?
Yes, 50 MB of free web space within WEB Express is also included in the basic option of O2 Internet Forte.
In case of migration from IOL Digital can the customer use their original IP addresses?
Yes, provided that such a requirement is discussed with a business representative first.
